The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines is encouraging the faithful to practice ‘digital media fasting’. The bishops believe that reducing digital consumption can help individuals regain inner peace, deepen personal relationships, and experience God’s presence in their daily lives.

In international news, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican secretary of state, has announced that the Holy See will not join the Board of Peace. This board, which was proposed by the U.S. president, aims to address conflicts in Gaza and other regions.
