Today’s Catholic Reflection
Wisdom 3:1-9 speaks of the fate of the just, who are safe in God's care. They may face suffering or death, but they find peace in their faith. Their challenges are like gold refined in fire, revealing their true worth. Ultimately, they will shine and enjoy eternal life with God, embraced by His love and mercy.
Psalm 23 reflects trust in God as a shepherd who cares for His people. The psalmist feels comforted by God's guidance, even in the darkest times. With God by their side, there is no fear. He prepares a feast and blesses the faithful. The psalm ends with a promise of goodness and kindness throughout life, leading to a lasting home with the Lord. Romans 5:5-11 brings our focus to God's love and the reconciliation found in Christ's sacrifice. It speaks of the hope and salvation that faith brings to believers.
