Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Isaiah, the Lord speaks of His word as rain and snow. These elements nourish the earth, making it fertile. Just as they fulfill their purpose, God's word will accomplish His will. This shows how reliable and effective His communication can be in fostering growth.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus shares the parable of the sower. He describes how different seeds respond to His teachings. Some seeds fall on paths, rocky ground, or thorns, leading to different results. Seeds that land on rich soil yield a bountiful harvest. Jesus reminds us that understanding His message is a gift, and those who listen deeply will see the fruit of their faith in their lives.
