Doctors at Texas Children’s Hospital have agreed to cease performing procedures on children that have been deemed as ‘sex-rejecting’ by critics. This decision comes in the wake of a Texas law prohibiting such interventions, which Governor Greg Abbott has referred to as “child abuse”. Additionally, the hospital has committed to funding a detransition clinic, providing support for those who regret their previous decisions to transition.

In Rome, 72 young people from war-torn Gaza have been welcomed by Pope Leo XIV. Their education, disrupted by the war, will be continued through a special program sponsored by the Diocese of Rome, Sapienza University, and the Sant’Egidio Community.
