Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Jeremiah, the LORD invites His people to return to Him. He calls them rebellious children but offers hope. He promises to gather them from their scattered places and lead them to Zion. Wise shepherds will be chosen to guide them. A time will come when the ark of the covenant will lose its importance, as Jerusalem becomes the center for all nations to honor the LORD.
The Responsorial Psalm reflects God's care for His people. He is depicted as a shepherd who gathers and protects His flock. Joy and blessings will transform their sorrow into happiness. In the Gospel, Jesus shares the parable of the sower. Different responses to His word lead to different outcomes. Those who embrace the message will bear abundant fruit, while others may struggle due to distractions or misunderstanding.
