The Pharisee doubts Jesus, thinking he should recognize the woman's sinful nature. Jesus responds with a parable about two debtors, highlighting that those forgiven much will love much. He acknowledges the woman's faith, forgives her sins, and tells her to go in peace, surprising those around him.
