Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Genesis, the LORD tells Abram to leave his homeland. He promises to make Abram the father of a great nation. God assures him that he will be blessed, and through him, all nations will find blessing. Abram listens and departs, showing his faith in God's promise.
The Psalm expresses trust in the LORD. It speaks of His justice and kindness. Those who fear Him will find protection and deliverance from hardship. In the New Testament, Paul encourages Timothy to endure challenges for the gospel. Salvation and a holy life come from God's grace through Jesus Christ. The Gospel tells of Jesus' transfiguration, where He shines in divine glory. The voice of God affirms Him as His beloved Son and instructs the disciples to listen to Him.
