David brought the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the City of David. He celebrated with great joy. As the bearers advanced, he made sacrifices and danced before the Lord, showing his devotion. David placed the ark in a tent he had prepared and offered burnt and peace offerings to God. Afterward, he blessed the people and shared food with them, ensuring everyone left with provisions.
In the Gospel, Jesus' mother and brothers sought him while he was teaching. When he learned of their presence, he asked who his true family was. He pointed out that those who do God's will are his true relatives. This teaching redefined familial bonds through faith and obedience. Jesus highlighted the spiritual connection among those who follow God's commands.
