In the letter to the Colossians, believers are encouraged to practice compassion, kindness, and love. These virtues help create harmony in relationships. The Gospel tells of Joseph's obedience to God's guidance as he protects Mary and Jesus, first by fleeing to Egypt and then returning to Israel, fulfilling the prophecies Messiah.
