Today’s Catholic Reflection
In 2 Thessalonians, the author encourages the community to stay strong in their faith as they await the return of Jesus Christ. They are advised to be cautious of false messages end times. Instead, they should cling to the teachings they have received and draw strength from God's love and grace.
The psalm celebrates the Lord's kingship and justice over the earth. It invites all of creation to rejoice in His rule. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus speaks against the hypocrisy of the religious leaders. He points out their focus on minor details while they overlook the greater values of justice and mercy. He encourages them to seek inner purity rather than just outward appearances.
