Today’s Catholic Reflection

In Ephesians, the author encourages believers to live in a way that reflects their calling from God. This means showing humility, gentleness, and patience while supporting each other in love. The passage speaks to the importance of unity among believers. They are all part of one body and one spirit, sharing the same hope. There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism, affirming their relationship with God as the Father of all.

The psalm expresses a deep longing to see God's face. It acknowledges that the earth and everything in it belongs to the Lord. It asks who can approach God, suggesting that only those with pure hearts and clean hands may stand in His presence. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus speaks to the crowds. He notes their ability to interpret natural signs while missing the spiritual truths of their time. He advises them to resolve disputes before they escalate, warning of the dangers of inaction.
