Today’s Catholic Reflection

In the first reading from Ephesians, Paul greets the believers in Ephesus with grace and peace from God. He expresses gratitude for the spiritual gifts given to them and highlights how they were chosen to be holy even before creation. Through Jesus Christ, God provides redemption and forgiveness, revealing His plan to unite all things in Christ at the end of time.

In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus speaks about those who honor the prophets ignore their messages. He warns that this generation will be accountable for the blood of the prophets. Jesus points out how the scholars of the law obstruct others from discovering the truth. Following His words, the religious leaders begin to plot against Him, looking for ways to trap Him in His speech.
