In 1 Corinthians, the author speaks resurrection of the dead. He points out that if there is no resurrection, then Christ has not been raised. This would make preaching and faith meaningless. Believers would still be in their sins, and those who have died in faith would be lost. The author, however, confirms that Christ has been raised, leading the way for others who will rise.
The responsorial psalm reveals a deep yearning for God's presence and justice. The speaker cries out for help and recognizes God's mercy, seeking refuge and protection. The psalm ends with a hopeful expression of joy upon seeing God's glory. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus moves from town to town, sharing the message of God's Kingdom. He is accompanied by the Twelve Apostles and several women who have experienced healing, showing their vital role in His ministry.
