In the reading from Habakkuk, the prophet shares his frustration with the evil and injustice around him. He wonders why God seems silent while the wicked harm the just. In the Gospel of Matthew, a man comes to Jesus, asking for help for his son who is suffering greatly. After Jesus heals the boy, the disciples ask why they could not perform the miracle themselves. Jesus points out that their lack of faith held them back. Even a small amount of faith can lead to remarkable outcomes. This moment shows how faith can help us face our struggles.
