Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Isaiah, the Lord invites all who are thirsty to come and receive nourishment freely. He asks why people spend their resources on things that do not satisfy. He encourages them to listen for true fulfillment and offers the promise of an everlasting covenant, recalling the benefits assured to David.
The psalm speaks of the Lord's kindness and mercy. He meets the needs of all living things. In the New Testament, Paul assures believers that nothing can separate them from the love of Christ, no matter the challenges they face. In the Gospel, Jesus shows compassion for a large crowd. He performs a miracle, feeding five thousand men with just five loaves and two fish, demonstrating His ability to provide abundantly.
