Today’s Catholic Reflection

In Ezekiel, the Lord promises to bring His people back to life. He will open their graves and fill them with His Spirit. They will know Him as their God. This message speaks to God's commitment and His ability to bring life from death.

In the Gospel of John, Jesus meets Martha and Mary, who are grieving for their brother Lazarus. He tells Martha that Lazarus will rise again and reveals that He is the resurrection and the life. Jesus feels deep sorrow and then calls Lazarus out of the tomb. This act shows His authority over death. Many who witness this miracle come to believe in Him.
