In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus teaches His disciples about fulfilling the law. He explains that true righteousness goes beyond just following rules. It involves the attitudes of our hearts. Jesus warns against anger, lust, and false oaths. He encourages His followers to seek reconciliation and integrity in their actions and words. This deeper understanding invites them to embody the spirit of the law.
