Today’s Catholic Reflection

The passage opens with good news and peace. It speaks of the joy felt by those who bring God's salvation to Zion. The sentinels celebrate as they see Jerusalem restored. The Lord comforts His people and shows His power to all nations. Singing praises reflects the joy of recognizing God's saving actions everywhere.

In the second reading from Hebrews, we see the Son as the ultimate revelation of God. He stands above the prophets and angels. The Gospel of John introduces the Word, affirming its divine nature and role in creation. This Word became flesh and lived among us, revealing God's glory. Through Jesus Christ, we receive grace and truth, highlighting His unique relationship with the Father.
