Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Isaiah 40:25-31, the Holy One speaks of His power and authority as the creator. He highlights the vastness of creation and knows each star by name. This passage comforts the people of Israel in their despair. The Lord is eternal and never grows weary. He strengthens the weak and promises renewed energy to those who hope in Him, allowing them to rise like eagles and face life's challenges.
Psalm 103 invites us to celebrate the goodness and mercy of the Lord. The psalmist encourages us to bless His name and remember His benefits. God offers forgiveness, healing, and compassion, showing His kindness and patience. The refrain reminds us to be grateful for His grace, as He does not treat us as our sins deserve. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus invites the weary to find rest in Him. He offers a gentle heart and assures us that His yoke is easy and His burden light.
