Today’s Catholic Reflection
In Isaiah 26:1-6, the people of Judah express their joy for a strong city that offers protection and peace. They sing about trusting in the Lord, who is a solid foundation. God brings down the proud and helps the humble and needy find justice.
In Matthew 7:21, 24-27, Jesus teaches the importance of acting on His words. Calling on Him is not enough. True followers must do God's will. Those who listen and apply His teachings are like wise builders on solid rock. Those who ignore them are like foolish builders, whose homes fall apart in tough times.
