Today’s Catholic Reflection

Daniel shares the interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream. The dream features a large statue made of different materials, each representing various kingdoms. The head is gold, the chest and arms are silver, the belly and thighs are bronze, the legs are iron, and the feet are a mix of iron and clay. A stone, not made by human hands, strikes the statue's feet. This causes the entire statue to collapse and be carried away like chaff. The stone then grows into a mountain, symbolizing a kingdom from God that will endure forever.

In the Gospel, Jesus speaks to his followers future of the temple. He warns them of false prophets and urges them not to be deceived. He describes wars, natural disasters, and signs in the sky as signs of what is to come. Jesus reassures them that these events must take place before the end. He encourages them to stay strong in their faith during challenging times.
