Today’s Catholic Reflection
In the first reading from Romans, Paul addresses the community and speaks about unity in Christ. He reminds everyone that each person has unique gifts. These gifts are meant to serve the good of the entire body. Paul encourages sincere love and support for one another. He highlights the need for compassion, urging them to rejoice with the joyful and empathize with those who suffer.
In the Gospel from Luke, Jesus shares a parable about a man who hosts a great dinner. Many invited guests make excuses and turn down the invitation. This leads the host to invite those who are marginalized and in need. The parable shows that those who reject the invitation miss out on the feast. It reflects God's desire for all to be welcomed and to share in His generosity.
